Riviara had a wonderful decade with her family, but now she’s looking for a new home. Known as Ripley, she’s a quiet, easygoing companion—the kind of cat who won’t demand attention but will absolutely soak it up when offered. Whether it’s a cuddle, a brushing session, or just sitting nearby, she’s happy to share her calm, loving presence.

She’s also a sun-worshipper at heart, happiest when she can lounge in a screened-in porch or a sunny window, watching the world go by. As an indoor-only kitty, she’s content to stay cozy inside, enjoying life at a relaxed pace. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance friend to share your home, Ripley is more than ready to move in!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
