Lucy | 2 years old | 40 lbs | Great with kids| GTA

Lucy is all heart. She's incredibly sweet and affectionate with adults, children, and other dogs. She's full of kisses, her tail is always wagging, and she has the most beautiful bright eyes. Lucy lives to be close to her people, whether that's cooking in the kitchen, working in the backyard, or sleeping at night. That said, she's also fine in her crate when her fosters need to leave home (and likely doesn't even need a crate).

Lucy is the perfect mid-sized dog. Small enough to easily guide on leash and hold on your lap for cuddles, but also large enough to go for long walks and accompany her family on any outdoor adventures. Lucy loves to play, whether it's chasing balls, tugging, or licking her Kong. She has bonded quickly to the foster family dog, and loves to play with him too. She is up for anything and also happy to rest and enjoy an afternoon nap.

Lucy's level of affectionate and devotion is really special. She bonds quickly and easily, and is the most loving companion. She needs and deserves a family who will match this level of affection and spend a lot of time with her since she basks in company and attention.

We have an application process. All applications are subject to reference checks, home checks. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and must adhere to requirements stated in this contract, and follow ups are done post adoption. Please contact us about adoption fees. Our rescue is solely run by volunteers, we strive to return calls and inquiries within a 24 hour period.
