Hello... I'm Spunky! I may be a senior, but my personality and energy match my name. I am a ten-year-old Terrier/Chihuahua mix. I weigh 10 lbs. and I am up-to-date on my dental and shots. I have a large dog, a small dog and a cat at my current foster home and I get along with everyone. I can use a doggy door or I will also scratch the door when it’s time to go out - I’m good like that! I love small toys, walks, under the blanket naps, and cuddling in your lap. The key to my heart in through treats! I was adopted out a a little puppy but unfortunately my family could no longer take care of me so I am looking for a new family to love me and see me through my golden years. Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
