Meet Angel! Don’t let the name fool you — this 9-month-old, 36-lb. beagle/chihuahua mix is full of spunk, smarts, and personality! Angel just completed a board-and-train program where he learned the basics of puppy manners, and he’s ready to keep building on those skills in his forever home.
Angel can be timid at first, but when given patience, space, and time to settle in, he truly shines. Once he trusts his people, his confidence blossoms, and with them by his side, he’s brave enough to take on the world. He’s already been to plenty of people-heavy events, handled them like a champ, and enjoyed meeting other dogs along the way.
This energetic pup would do best in a home with women and/or men who understand how to let a shy dog warm up at his own pace. He’ll likely thrive with a canine buddy to match his energy and help him feel secure. At home, Angel balances his playful, adventurous side with plenty of cuddles once he’s tired out. He walks nicely on a leash, is mostly house-trained with regular outings, and is eager to keep learning.
