Meet Lucky & Charm! They are extremely FRIENDLY piggies who love to be pet and held. They are wonderful with children and are happy to be cuddling on their laps. They are pretty large guinea pigs and definitely enjoy eating! They get super excited when it's time for their fresh fruits and veggies. They are a very bonded pair and are often found cuddled together, so we are looking for a home where they can be adopted together. These affectionate and outgoing piggies will make a wonderful addition to your home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption.

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up 'curb side'. Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR was established in 2004 as a 501(c) non profit organize and an all volunteer rescue organization. We are not a shelter. We rescue both cats and dogs. We care for these pets in our foster homes until proper and stable homes are found through a multi-step adoption process. Our ultimate goal is to match families with our pets so that they live out their lives in loving, educated, safe homes for the remainder of their lives. Our additional goals in rescue are to educate the public in the importance of spaying/neutering and exposing the truth behind pet store puppys and the horrors of puppy mills.
