My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pepper – Pepper is a sweet, charming, gentle cat looking for a loving home to call his own. Although he’s still a bit reserved, he’s making incredible strides in becoming more comfortable and affectionate every day. He has a growing fondness for lap time, where he will curl up and purr contentedly—his way of showing his trust and affection. While still a little shy, Pepper has made significant progress in his foster home and is becoming more confident and loving with each passing day.

I`m available for adoption from my foster home! If you`re interested, please fill out the following application: https://www.cognitoforms.com/adamsco1/riverdaleanimalsheltercatadoptionsurvey

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
