My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is the absolute best and is looking for a loving home. At 14 years young, he’s potty trained and knows all the basics—sit, stay, shake, come, down, and up.

Now, for the sad part, Shadow may have a malignant cancer growth, so he deserves to be spoiled and loved every single day for however much time he has left. As a senior, he is available for our pets for seniors program for adopters 65 and older where adoption fee is waived entirely. Since Shadow has this possible malignancy, his adoption fee for those under 65 may benefit from a reduced adoption fee.

Shadow is enjoying some time in a loving foster home. To meet him, let VHS know of your interest by submitting a no-oblgation adoption application on the website or call the adoption desk. An adoption counselor will set up a time that works for you to have him be at VHS for you to meet.
