Meet Cairo - A Loyal Boxer Ready for His Forever Home

Adoption Fee: $399

Cairo has been a faithful companion since he was just eight weeks old. For seven years, he was a beloved family pet - until a new baby arrived, and suddenly, he was no longer wanted. His family was on their way to the shelter to have him euthanized when Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue stepped in to save him.

Now, we're determined to find him a loving home where he will be cherished for the rest of his life.

Cairo is a purebred boxer, full of love and loyalty. Having only known apartment life, he dreams of finally having a yard to run and play in and a window to watch the world go by - simple joys he's never had before. He's in great health , neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines and preventions.

This sweet boy deserves a family who will never give up on him. If you're looking for a devoted, gentle companion who will love you unconditionally, Cairo is waiting for you.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.

We require an adoption application, once approved a volunteer will contact you to inform you of the adoption process and answer any questions you may have. Our transport comes up North about every 2 weeks.
