My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Renee was very scared initially, but it didn't take her long to warm up! She is a super snuggly girl and loves to lay on your lap or on anything soft and get pets. She is doing great with other dogs and likes to chase cats. She seems to be potty trained, but needs a bit of work on walking with a leash. Renee likes to be with her person for sure... she is a cute little shadow wherever you go!!

All of our adoptable dogs and cats will be be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted out.
Dogs: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents). Cats: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents if applicable within your city).!

We are a government agency dedicated to providing animal services to the communities of Davis County.

Our Goal
"To provide service to the people and the animals of Davis County, through the professional operation of the Davis County Animal Shelter and animal care and control programs. Services shall be rendered in an efficient, effective, and conscientious manner. These services shall include, but are not limited to; sheltering of unwanted, stray and abandoned pets, euthanasia of animals, adoption, redemption, lost and found services, providing of resource information, and public education as well as the taking and processing of all requests for service. These and other similar services shall be provided in a friendly, compassionate, and pro-active manner at all times."
