Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope is a sweet 7 month old female kitten. She is about 7 months old, she is fixed and up to date on vaccines. She is very loving and affectionate, she loves everyone. She originally came from a farm and was a barn cat, so she has been around other cats, dogs and farm animals. She does good with everyone, but can be a little opinionated at first when meeting new animals if they are too hyper with her. She has been around kids as well and she does great with them.

Penelope would be a great addition to any family!

Their adoption process

1.
Interview

We ask you basic questions to find the right pet for you and your family. If all goes well, you get to come and meet the animals.

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We have you come in to meet which pets you would like to meet. We want to find the best fit for what pet would be for you and your family!

3.
Meet the Pet

If meeting goes well with the people, we will have you come back if you have any dogs to meet them to make sure they get along well.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

We have a foster to adopt contract if the pets are not fixed/vaccinated yet. If all goes well, you can take your new pet home with you :)

Additional adoption info

If animals are not fixed and up to date on vaccines upon meeting them: We have you fill out a Foster to Adopt Contract. The pet will officially become yours once it is fixed and vaccinated within 30 days. We cover getting the fixed, vaccinated and heartworm testing, but you must take them to our vet (Davis Veterinary Service in Rensselaer, IN) If the animal is not fixed and vaccinated within 30 days, you will be fined and the animal will be confiscated from you.
