You`ve got to have faith, and courage to face your fears! Meet Faith our 3 year old Terrier mix weighing in at a little 28lbs. Faith came into our shelter under difficult circumstances. She was part of a hoarding case, and is now seeking a forever home to care and love her like she has never experienced before. She is a very friendly and submissive girl who when you pet her will immediately flip over for belly rubs and cuddles. She walks well on a leash and does know how to sit. She faces each day with courage and determination to find her home. Will you be the one to give her everything her little heart desires?

HSSM is home to over 300 pets on any given day, most of which are looking for new forever homes! Your new best friend could be waiting at HSSM right now. Our beautiful, 41,000 square foot facility is currently open to the public. HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first served. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID, as it is required to complete adoption paperwork.
Our adoptable animals page is self-updating and displays ALL of HSSM’s adorable adoptable pets from “pocket pets” to birds and of course the hundreds of dogs and cats currently calling HSSM home! See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
Adoptions are cut off every day about 30 minutes prior to closing and possibly earlier if volume is high. Weekends are busy and you may have to wait more than an hour (especially in the afternoons) so please be prepared.
