ABOUT ME...
Hi, I’m Phoebe! I was born the day after Thanksgiving as part of an unexpected litter, lovingly referred to as “The Friends Litter.” My mom looks a lot like a black lab, but my foster mom thinks she’s probably a mix of shepherd, rottweiler, and bully. No matter what, my foster mom loves me just the way I am.
She also mentioned that my dad has coonhound in him—he has long legs, which I’m lucky enough to have inherited! That means I can run super fast and jump really high.
My foster mom calls me her big puppy. I think I’m going to be a good medium-sized pup, though—I’m not as big as my siblings, who are giants!
I’M GREAT WITH...
Other dogs and children! I’m a bit shy at first, so it’s best to take it slow when you first meet me. I can be skittish until I get to know you, but don’t worry—it doesn’t take long! Also, I’m a big fan of giving kisses!
I’M GOOD WITH...
Sleeping! My foster mom says I sleep through the night as long as I get plenty of playtime during the day to wear myself out. I’m also getting really good at jumping—really high! I’m still working on potty training outdoors but have been using pee pads. I’ve never met a cat yet, but I already know I’ll love playing with one!
MY VETTING...
The dogtour did spay and microchip me. I was dewormed, even though I tried telling the dogtour I do not have worms. I have my preventatives and my initial vaccinations. My adopter can bring me back to CO•PAW vet clinic between 3/31/25 – 4/7/25 to have my shots and boosters at no expense.
**All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. Booster shots are included in the adoption fee and will be performed at our clinic, or the adopter can use their own vet at their expense. Adopters must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH. No transportation assistance is available.**
