My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: est. June 1, 2020

Blueberry is a little princess who is looking for a compassionate and patient family to give her unconditional love.  She is a timid gal who was rescued from a harsh outdoor life along with her brother Mo. They are both healthy and content cats, but they are shy.

Blueberry has really come a long way with her foster family and is now actively seeking affection. Once she has established a trust in you, she'll meow ever-so-cutely for pets!  Her desire to observe is like that of a behavioral scientist, and she is so interested in human activities that she'll follow you to the bathroom! Uhm, perhaps she needs a lesson on personal boundaries.

Both Blueberry and Mo enjoy playtime and it is great fun to watch as they become kittens again with catnip toys.   Blueberry’s favourite toy of all time is a small ball (smaller than a ping pong ball).

Blueberry and Mo may never be lap cats, but they do enjoy human company and will often sit on the couch with their foster mom. They are independent and do well on their own for long periods of time.

Blueberry and Mo love each other very much and must be adopted together. They are OK with other cats, but NOT good with dogs or kids.  They are loving in their own special way.

More about this rescue

We are small but growing group of volunteers who simply love cats. We are not-for-profit organization who rely on public donations and support to continue to operate and save the lives of many innocent cats and kittens. The majority of our cats & kittens are rescued from Kill shelters who are rescue friendly and allow us to take these cats who are slated for euthanasia because of a lack of space in the shelter. Foster homes are our life blood, we need foster homes year round. Volunteers to help us with fundraising events, garage sales, adoption centres etc are always welcomed.
