My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet gorgeous Genie! This silly girl loves to play with her toys and her siblings. Genie came to our shelter with her 5 siblings when her family could no longer care for her. According to her foster mom, Genie is the most aloof of the group but loves to be held. She will need a home where her family will work on her manners and obedience training and give her the chance to have both physical and mental stimulation. Genie should do well in a home with other friendly pups and kids but we do want to make sure that the family that adopts her understands that she is still a puppy and has sharp puppy teeth!
Genie is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on her puppy vaccines. Come meet this goofy lady!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
