This big, puffy cheeked, ginger boy is a former stray from Niagara Falls who is ready to find a quiet place to curl up in. He’s looking forward to enjoying all the comfort life as an indoor cat has to offer!
ABOUT JULIUS: -At shelter -Adult, domestic shorthair, male -Julius is a skittish cat who seems to have had minimal experience with humans. -Julius likes his alone time, as he is still getting used to being around people. -Julius has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat but is not transmissible to humans or other species. -Julius is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
JULIUS’S IDEAL HOME: -Julius will need some patience as he adjusts to living in his forever home. He will benefit from a clam, quiet environment, preferably without small children. -At this time, we are not sure if Julius would appreciate any feline or canine pals. -Julius does not require medication but vet checkups twice a year are recommended. -Cats who have FIV can live just as long as other cats if they are properly cared for with a good diet, an indoor home, and a loving family.
It might take some time to earn Julius’s trust, but in the end it will be so worth it. Is Julius the right fit for you? Apply to adopt him today!
