The soft, melodic sound of the name “Naomi” means “pleasantness”. How appropriately named is this little girl!?? This adorable black and white kitten, with those white whiskers and that pink button nose, arrived at my home with dermatitis and a sinus infection. She is such a friendly kitten that her minor infections do not slow her down. Kisses, please! Naomi actually reaches her paws straight up, as if asking to come on up! It is so adorable! You cannot help but oblige. If you are not a fan of your kitten climbing up your chest to get up close and personal for head butts and kisses, Naomi is not for you. And if you bend down, that is her invitation to step upon your back, to proceed to make biscuits on your head. How can you not chuckle at that? She is simply enticed with heads. If you have broad shoulders, you will soon have a cat-hat! She has got to get up and personal, and check out your hair. All along, her loud motor is purring. She even makes biscuits while eating. Left paw up, right paw up, while enjoying lunch. She is simply one of the most affectionate kittens I have ever fostered! I don’t ever want to leave her alone in her room, especially when she paws at the closed door and lets up the most delicate little, high pitched kitten cry. Mee-oow! Meee! Now! I quickly turn and go right back in for more sweet kisses and love bites. Naomi, who was born in May 2024, is now mingling with two younger four month old foster kittens. She looks and behaves like a six month old! Being the oldest, and a little larger, after a few take downs and foster mama telling her no, she quickly learns that she has to be gentle with the young kittens. Naomi has definitely learned how to play well with others. They are now all three wrestling buddies! After a few somersaults and a bunch of bunny kicks, it is time for the next toy. Naomi likes to grab the wanded toy with the 3 fish on the end, and dash away, with the fish trailing behind. This is, of course, irresistible for the two kittens, and the chase is on. Next, it is time to tackle the 3-tier interactive ball toy. Fun for all! Bat, bat, bat! Hours of fun for all. Naomi is four paws of fur, purr, love and fun. Are you ready for unconditional love? Do you like little love bites? Are you ready to go fishing for a cat with a wand? Then Naomi is ready for you. Don’t let this little love “swim” away! Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue about this precious little girl and we will answer you immediately. ccrnewengland@gmail.com
