My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This affectionate and quirky guy is sure to bring happiness and laughter to everyone around him. George has a particular fondness for rolling around on the carpet, where you'll often find him stretching and tumbling about in pure feline bliss. This behavior is not just a playtime activity; it's George's way of expressing his happiness and feeling at ease in his environment. One of George's most charming qualities is his affectionate demeanor. He thrives on human interaction and is always eager for pets and cuddles. Adding to his charm, George has a few quirks that never fail to amuse: a small portion of his tongue is almost always sticking out and his version of purring resembles a soft snore. These traits add a unique touch to his already amazing personality. George's love for rolling around, his insatiable need for affection, his ever-present tongue peek, and his unique purring style make him a truly special cat. George brings pure joy into the lives of anyone fortunate enough to know him.

George is FIV+, but don't let that stop you from adopting this amazing boy! While cats diagnosed with FIV can have slightly weaker immune systems, many cats do not show any symptoms during their lifetimes and can live normal lives. FIV is not considered contagious and can only be spread through deep flesh bites, making it possible for non-FIV cats to live safely alongside FIV cats as long as no intense fighting occurs.

All cats and kittens come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $50.00 for adult cats and $75.00 for kittens under 6 months old at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our cats or kittens.

To be approved, you can apply in person or online at:
https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/1486/Adoption-Application
Applications can take a few business days to be approved and you will be emailed with communications regarding your application.
