Due to Kanna’s ongoing medical expenses, we are no longer able to provide the care she needs. We have done our best to support her, but unfortunately, we are at a point where it is no longer financially possible for us to continue.

Our biggest hope is that Kanna can find a loving home where she will be well cared for, and where financial constraints won’t limit her access to the medical attention she requires. She is a wonderful dog, and this decision has been incredibly difficult for us.

Kanna suffers from a skin condition which causes her to loose fur. This is called alopecia. It’s very uncomfortable for her and it makes her scratch herself a lot and be in pain. It is good for her to have baths frequently with skin sensitive dog shampoo. BioHex shampoo works very well. A medication called Cephalexin helps her a lot as well.

We really hope that Kanna can find a loving home with owners who will be able to tend to her needs.
