My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Her name is Roxanne, but we nicknamed her Rocky because she is so fearless and tough! Nothing phases this sweet girl. She has nothing but patience for our 60 pound pitbull and our own crotchety resident cat. PACC described her as a social butterfly, and that is 100% accurate.

Rocky has been a pleasure to foster! I`m obsessed with her little mustache and her mismatched socks.

She loves sitting next to us while we watch TV, and she and has the sweetest habit of sitting on our feet. She will also sit in our laps and doesn`t mind being picked up or held.

There seems to be little that Rocky does mind. This girl is unflappable! Giving her meds is no problem at all, including her twice daily insulin injection. She has never complained; we`re not even sure if she notices it!

And don`t worry, she won`t let you forget when it`s time to feed her and give her the injection. She is the most food motivated cat I have ever met. She isn`t picky and doesn`t mind her diabetic food at all, but she also enjoys my cat`s gluten free salmon pate, a good ol` can of Friskies, and has even snagged some of my dog`s vegan kibble. What a character!
