My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scooter!

In early March, Scooter's dad drove himself to the ER for care. Unfortunately, his dad had suffered a stroke was hospitalized in critical care. Scooter and his dad live in his car, so Scooter waited patiently in the parking lot for his dad to return. Hospital staff checked on Scooter daily and reached out to us for help. In the meantime, Orange County Animal Care picked up Scooter for safe keeping. Sadly, his dad won't be able to care for him for the foreseeable future, and he needed to exit the shelter.

On March 11th, Scooter became a Frosted Face. He is a happy little meatball and so lovable! Unfortunately, as is so common, Scooter became sick in the shelter with a respiratory infection, so he is currently in quarantine getting the medications and care he needs.

Check back for an update on how Scooter is doing!
