My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sissie is a delightful one-year-old beagle who is looking for her forever home. Weighing in at just 15 pounds, she is the perfect size for any household, whether you live in an apartment or a house with a yard. Despite her rough start in life, having been abandoned on a highway, Trixie has remained incredibly resilient and loving.
Trained and Ready to Go
Sissie is both house and crate trained, making her an easy and convenient addition to your family. Her training ensures that she adapts quickly to new environments without any hassles.
A Social Butterfly
One of Sissie's standout qualities is her friendly nature. She adores people and gets along well with everyone she meets. Whether you have children, other pets, or frequent visitors, Trixie is sure to be a hit with her warm and affectionate personality.
Why Adopt Sissie?

Playful and Energetic: As a young beagle, she has plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and adventures.

More about this rescue

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.

100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.

BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.

We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.

BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
