My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Squirt! This sweet 8 week old neutered male pup is a cuddle monster and can`t wait to find a family to love him. Squirt came to our shelter with his 5 siblings and he is so excited to find a home where he can be a mountain dog! According to his foster, this boy is very sweet and a total lovebug. We think he should do well in a home with other friendly pups and kids and we hope that his new family will give him plenty of stimulation and exercise as he grows and matures as well as basic obedience and working on his manners.
Squirt is going to be a great addition to an active family and we can`t wait for him to find his forever home! This boy is already neutered, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on his puppy vaccines.

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
