`Hawthorne is a chubby cheeked Mcgee estimated to be around 2.5 years old. He was brought in as a stray and didn`t mind being wearing a harness. Since then - he has become quite frightened by the chaotic environment that the shelter brings. He is a grumpy guy with staff and visitors but LOVES his kitty friends in the colony room. Throughout the day you can find Hawthorne cuddled up with another feline for their afternoon nap. He would be an excellent friend for someone`s current cat! And with time - he would be yours! Hawthorne has made progress with staff here, but he is definitely still wary of getting pets and attention. Staff discovered that a lickable treat is the best way to make your way into his heart.`
Do you have room in your home for this guy? How could you resist those cheeks?!
