Meet Davonna!! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home. We don't know a lot about her history but she was loving the car ride & giving lots of kisses on her way to our DASH Prison Training Program. While there she will be learning (maybe just refreshing) basic commands like sit, stay, down wait, leave it & other good girl habits to be on her best behavior with her new family. She seems to like people, other dogs and wasn't really concerned about cats at the rescue. Davonna does not walk well on leash yet, unless you count HER walking you, so she will be working on that as well. She'll need someone willing to work with her to continue her training as she acclimates to her new home. She would be well worth the time invested to make her the best dog ever. DASH ( Danielle's animal safe haven) rescue Is a 501 3c rescue trying to place as many homeless animals in loving homes as we possibly can. We pull breeds of all types and sizes. We rescue dogs from your purse puppies to your gentle giants and all in between. We pull from kill shelters where most pups are on their last day. We try to keep our adoption fees within reason, but they do vary. In rescuing these hopeful pets, there comes a lot of expenses. These fees help with vetting, medications, altering (age appropriate) and so much more.
