My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Stripe. I’m 2 yrs old & know my basic commands. I’m also housetrained, crate trained & walk well on a loose leash. My house manners are improving & do not require being crated very much. I will go in my crate when I’m asked & will be quiet unless there is something very interesting going on in my foster home. I’m a pretty large & muscular boy as you can see, but sometimes I still think I should be able to at least lie across your lap. I love to cuddle & get lots of hands-on attention. I also happy just finding a comfortable spot to lay & patiently wait for you to finish your household chores. I can get rather rambunctious when I play outside in my foster family's fenced back yard. I must've been encouraged by someone in my past to jump up to their hands or to get toys they were holding because I do this rather well. If you like to play like this too, then I am the dog for you! I get along very well with the other boxers, both male & female, in my foster home. I also do well with small dogs & cats. I came from a home that had a Chihuahua & a female boxer as my canine siblings. I am good around children although I sometimes have trouble knowing when not to jump up. I did not receive a very good tail dock, so the end of my tail stump will not grow hair. Other than that, I am a very handsome boy.
