Meet Midnight,

He is a 4-month-old little handsome black ball of energy with a playful spirit and a curious mind! Midnight is very smart and he’s always ready for an adventure. His favorite things in the world are wand toys, lasers, and any interactive toys that let him show off his ninja-like moves! Whether he’s diving, jumping, or sliding across the floor to catch his “prey,” Midnight brings boundless energy and excitement wherever he goes. He is the last of his siblings to await a furrever home and is ready to be your new best friend!

There’s just one mystery that still baffles him—he can never seem to catch the red laser! But no worries, he’s determined and always learning new tricks by watching others play. When he’s not in full play mode, Midnight is keenly observant, constantly picking up new tactics to improve his game.

Midnight has a sociable personality makes him the perfect fit. He gets along great with cats, dogs of all sizes, and kids, and he’s always up for some fun with his family. If you're looking for a fun-loving, playful kitten with a lot of personality. When he wants to rest he likes to hide to nap.

My Story:
I was found huddled against a church in Jeannette, PA, Westmoreland County with my 2 siblings. A volunteer came to locate and pick us up. We were extremely scared with little human interaction. Our eyes were crusty and they were extremely skinny. This area is known for many unaltered cats living in colonies across the city. After being taking into NPLB we are healthy and happy.

Submit Application

Virtual meet & greet Those interested in fostering or adopting please read and fill out our adoption application in full, virtual signature

2.
Interview

We screen the adopter: home check, vet check (if no animals owned in the last 10 years we can recommend a vet), personal reference check

3.
Approve Application

Ensure everything on application is true. Screen all applications to choose the best fit for each individual animal's needs

4.
Meet the Pet

Arrange a 2 night stay to see how you interact with the animal and ensure you would like to adopt the specific animal chosen

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Upon meeting for the 2 night stay, we will have you officially sign the last page of the adoption contract before allowing the stay

6.
Pay Fee

Once you decide to adopt your new pet, we will collect the fee for adoption.

Additional adoption info

Upon the 2 night stay, you are not obligated by any means to adopt the animal chosen. If the cat you choose does not work out for your life style needs during the stay, you are welcome to select another pet to meet and introduce into your home.

Before a cat is adopted it will receive the following age appropriate vet care from our rescue:

Spay/neuter surgery

Rabies Vaccine

FVRCP vaccines (panleukopenia, calici, rhinotrachetis, and chlamydia)
- our rescue completes all vaccine series (if your cat still needs any when they go home, we will create a schedule for it to receive the vaccines by us within the time limit to complete the series.)

FeLV/FIV testing

Given dewormer and flea preventative

Microchiping

Documentation of all health information and medical procedures performed

We are a foster based rescue. We have virtual meet and greets, as well as 2 night stays for meeting our adoptable animals. We will be hosting adoption events to the public at a future date.

More about this rescue

Racheal and Megan are the Co founders of No Paws Left Behind rescue (NPLB). We both have a huge love for and experience handing and caring for all types of animals. We have 6 + years of TNR experience. Educating the public is important to us.

Megan is a Vet Assistant with experience handling and specializing in dogs. Racheal is a huge supporter of animal advocacy and being a voice for those who cannot be heard. She has experience taming and socializing cats and kittens.

Our rescue is foster based only with the goals of having a facility. We are an all volunteer rescue and adoption service. All of our donations going directly to the animals and their care. Anything we do not receive donations for, we pay for out of our own pocket to help the animals. We are currently fundraising to obtain our 501(c)3 non profit. We focus mainly on cats. Other animals may be taken in on a case by case basis.

We focus on rescuing to help save animals lives and to help make an impact in our direct community. The animals we have often face hard situations in their life and that is how they find us to help. Each animal we assist is life changing to them. Every life we can impact makes a difference to us.

Our mission is to help educate the public about community cats and work with caretakers for TNR, providing shelter, food and love for the homeless or unwanted cats in the area and adoption. We adopt out all friendly cats and give each cat a commitment to finding them a place to call home. We work to relocate any unfriendly cats to barn homes, or warehouses where they can still be cared for but live on their own terms.
