Hi there! My name is Agnes. I'm quite shy at first and might hiss at you when you first meet, but that's just my 'first hello' to anyone new!
This is what my foster mom has to say about me;
I am very food and play motivated and can quickly forget to be afraid if you start to play with me and or her favorite treats. The Catit squeezables are a big favorite but likes other treats and likes most cat food, especially pate. She also loves little furry mouse toys, balls, plastic bottle caps, peanuts in the shell, and catnip pillows. She loves to watch "Kitty TV" and will sit on your lap to watch it just so she can get closer to the screen. She was fostered with Margo and they get along fine but not strongly bonded. She would likely be good with other friendly cats rather than as an only cat.
If she has good scratching posts etc. around she learns pretty quickly not to scratch on couches and other furniture.
She is quiet at night and has never woken up her foster mom, not even in the morning. She always uses the litter box and has never jumped on the kitchen countertops but does go on the kitchen table to see out the window. She adores sunny windows and watching birds etc. She isn't afraid to let you know when she wants to play or is hungry (she meows at you). She knows the words "treat", "din-din (dinner)" "stop it", "no", and her name. She prefers Aggie (rather than Agnes).
If you'd like to meet me please reach out to yorkregion@ontariospca.ca!
