Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT ME…
Hi. My name is Kai. I was surrendered to the Marion pound when I was maybe 8 weeks old. I love my treats, my foster family, playing with my foster brothers and cuddling with my foster mom. I sometimes sleep with the tip of my tongue hanging out, which my foster mom thinks is adorable. I will cuddle up with a foster brother to nap, too. I love hanging outside in our fenced yard with my foster family. I really enjoy tug toys, and chew toys. I have cats in the house and for the most part, I just check them out.
I AM GREAT WITH…
People, guys and gals. I haven’t met a stranger because everyone loves me at first sight! I am great with sleeping in my crate at night or when my fosters have to leave. I am not afraid of any sized dog either so I’m great with other dogs.
I AM STILL WORKING ON…
House training since I am still a baby. When my foster mom is paying attention, I go outside really well…but I still need a lot of patience and practice. I cannot go all night without potty breaks or I will go in my crate. I still need some help realizing that shoes aren’t chew toys if you leave them on the floor in my reach. I don’t have much exposure to kids. Since I am a baby, I want to jump on kids so they will pet me and I will need some training.
I AM NOT GOOD WITH…
Leash training, yet! I like having control so not good with a leash but I am food motivated enough that I should learn quickly.
**All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. Booster shots are included in the adoption fee and will be performed at our clinic, or the adopter can use their own vet at their expense. Adopters must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH. No transportation assistance is available.**
