My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Daisy, a quirky, cuddly, and slightly sassy brown tabby. My signature move is the head bonk (I’ll bop you gently to show affection), and I also excel at zoomies. One minute I’m sitting sweetly, the next I’m streaking down the hallway! After I’m tuckered out, you’ll find me perched at the window for some bird watching. Bird TV is my favorite.

I used to be a mom and raised my kittens well, but now I’m ready to be spoiled like the queen I am. I’m a bit of a diva about my food (a girl has standards) and have mixed feelings about other cats. I’d be happy as your one-and-only, though I might tolerate a mellow feline friend who respects my space. Despite my sass and picky palate, I’m a total lovebug with my humans. I’ll gladly curl up on your lap and purr after a day of adventures.

Ready to spoil a fun-loving, head-bonking queen like me? Come meet me and see if I’m the perfect match for your family! Bring treats - the good kind, please - and I might even show off my zoomies for you.

Daisy is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
