Hello, I'm JoJo, an adorable petite tabby with a heart full of love to give!
My journey here has been quite the adventure. When my previous family moved, I got a bit scared and hid in the attic, hoping to find some quiet. With so many other pets in the house, I guess they just forgot about me. But no worries, the kind new homeowners found me and brought me to the safety of AHSEM, where I'm now waiting for my forever family.
I might be a little shy at first due to my past experiences, but once I feel safe, I act like I own the place! I enjoy the company of other pets, though I wouldn't mind being the center of attention either.
I absolutely love getting attention and would be overjoyed to find a family who will cherish me and never forget me. I'm both friendly and brave, and I'm ready to bring joy and companionship to my new home. Could it be with you?
Jojo is currently at in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
