Meet Shepherd, a lively and vocal boy who knows how to make an entrance! He’s got quite the set of lungs and isn’t afraid to use them—until, of course, you give him the attention he’s asking for. The moment you do, he stops, just like that! Shepherd is a social butterfly who wants to befriend everyone who walks by, making sure no one misses his enthusiastic greetings. With his boundless energy and athletic spirit, he’d make the perfect companion for an active person who’s ready for a partner that can not only keep up but probably leave them in the dust!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.

All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.

Monday - Friday: 1:00 - 6:00 pm
