Meet Cheerio, the delightful 10-month-old, 40-pound bundle of energy! 🐾 This sweetheart is both crate and potty trained, great with older kiddos and dog friendly, making her a perfect addition to any family. 🤩

Cheerio blended into her foster’s family almost immediately, showing her adaptable and loving nature. 🤍 She loves to play—a lot—and would thrive in a home with another dog of a good age and size who loves to play as much as she does. 🐕 An active family or a fenced-in yard where she can run around and play would be ideal for her. 🏡

Cheerio is smart and well-behaved; she goes to the door and even rings the bell when she needs to go outside. 🔔 She has also learned to sit to get her paws wiped. 🤭 This playful and affectionate girl would bring so much joy and laughter to any home. OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
