Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Ella! I’m new here at the Atlanta Humane Society, and my friends and caretakers are still learning more about me.

So far they`ve learned that I`m a pretty shy little lady. I may need a few minutes of quiet time to get comfortable enough to greet you. But once I`m out, I love attention! I will rub myself on your legs to let you know when it`s time for my daily loving and if you walk away, don`t worry I`ll follow you!

I`m the perfect mix of cuddly, cute, and playful. I love feather toys! If you`re ever trying to find me, jingle that bad boy in front of my condo and I`ll come running. When I catch my toys, it almost feels like a real hunt. I`ll even bring my prizes back into my condo to hoard them like a dragon.

At the Atlanta Humane Society, we process adoptions two different ways depending on whether an animal is physically housed at our Atlanta or Roswell location or in a foster home. The adoption process is listed in each animal’s biography so that you’ll know if you need to fill out a pre-adoption application form or visit them at our shelter to adopt. At the Atlanta Humane Society, we take special care to make sure the animals we house are a good fit for the homes they go to. We have a variety of friendly, healthy, tail-wagging furry friends just brimming with love to give. They’ve been seen by a vet and a behavior team, are up-to-date on vaccines, and go home with starter kit to help you get started off on the right paw. Even if they can’t say it out loud, when you find the right animal, you’ll feel the gratitude and affection. Your new best friend is waiting for you!
