Meet Tank!

This handsome boy is sooo good. He is a friendly chap who gets along with everyone. He is good with other dogs and all people, though a little timid in certain situations. He is only about 6-7 months old and weighs around 20-ish lbs. He is stocky in build and low to the ground (hence the name Tank). His little face is just the best. His family surrendered him because he killed one of their chickens unfortunately. His is so sweet with everyone, but clearly should not be given access to free roaming farm animals like chickens. We love him and forgive him this trespassing!

Tank is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered soon. His adoption fee is $525

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

1.
Submit Application

Please submit an application via our website for the dog you are interested in.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once we receive your application we will arrange a meet and greet for you with the dog in their foster home.

3.
Take the Pet Home

After the meet and greet, if all goes well, we offer a two week trial adoption to ensure the dog is indeed a good match for you.

Additional adoption info

All applicants have a two-week trial adoption period. If the trial adoption is successful, a final adoption contract is signed.

Saving Great Animals is a match-making rescue. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we work with you to help you find your best match. All of our dogs are vaccinated, chipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All applicants have the opportunity to do a two-week trial adoption to ensure the dog is the right match for you. We are passionate about our work and transparent with you so that you find the dog that will be the love of your life.
