My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello- I am a recent mama who came to Colorado with my kittens to find my forever home. My kittens are all grown up and weaned and to be honest, I want my own space! I am very shy and uncertain and will need a lot of patience from you for me to feel comfortable. I do like to be petted and once I feel safe, love nothing more than to rub my head into your hand. I have not been around children or dogs in my foster home and would probably do best in a home without young children or a lot of activity. I am estimated to be about a year and a half old. I have been spayed, and have had my rabies and FVRCP vaccines. I am FELV negative. I am looking for a quiet home where I can spend my time sitting on the windowsill and eventually your lap. I am a sweet girl that will take a little time to adjust and feel brave, but have a lot of love to give.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.
