Needs: Quiet home, another similar sized grounded dog. No kids under 13 & no big dogs.
**Meet Hida: A Gentle Soul in Search of a Loving Home**

Hida is a small, shy dog with a heart full of love waiting to bloom. Rescued from a challenging hoarding situation involving 70 dogs, Hida has faced more than her share of hardships. When she arrived at the rescue, she was emaciated and heavily pregnant. After giving birth to three puppies—one naturally, one with assistance, and the last via c-section—Hida displayed incredible strength despite her frail condition. Tragically, she lost one of her precious pups at just ten days old, a reminder of the struggles she has endured.

Hida is a sweet girl who loves to be held, but her past has made her cautious. She needs a patient and understanding family who can help her learn to trust again. While she craves companionship, she may take her time to warm up to new people. Hida is best suited for a home with no children under 13 and no large dogs, as she thrives in a calm and quiet environment.

This little lady finds comfort in napping on the couch, but when things get too overwhelming, she retreats to her kennel where she feels safe. Hida will need a dedicated family that can provide her with a secure space to relax and the time to adjust to her new life.
