3/10/25. My vet run today was 7-year-old BEAR. Poor BEAR finds himself at the rescue through no fault of his own; his owners were separating, and he was bounced around from house to house before realizing no one could take him. He was so stressed by the time he came to us that he had chewed off part of his tail down to the bone, and we had to do a partial tail amputation.
BEAR is friendly with everyone he meets and is so grateful for any scrap of attention. He wanted to kiss me the entire car ride over to the vet. He can be a bit vocal when he wants his treats but listens well. He likes most other dogs, would probably do well with a sweet female, and he is good with older children.
BEAR could really use a break. He's all healed from his surgery and ready to go. Surely there's someone out there who wants to give this adorable Dobie mix a chance.
