My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunny is an 11-year-old Tabby who is warm and loving with her caretaker(s), once she builds comfort and trust. We adopted her when she was just a few weeks old. Our friend found her abandoned in Red Hook, on the sidewalk outside of Sunny's bar (her namesake!) and nursed her to health. He was unable to care for her longterm, so we took her in and she has been a wonderful pet for us for many years. We are looking for a loving home for Sunny because she has had trouble adjusting to two toddlers who now live with us in our two bedroom apartment :). We have tried many different things, but we feel a new home would be the best way forward both for Sunny and for our family.
