Meet Trixie. She’s a Chihuahua/Dachshund/Poodle mix. She’s around 1 year old and weighs 9 pounds.
Trixie came into rescue pregnant and ready to deliver at any time. On December 26, 2024 she had four puppies. Trixie was a wonderful mom and the puppies have since found their own homes and now it’s Trixie’s turn to find that fabulous forever family.
Trixie does well with other dogs. She loves to run and play with the dogs in her foster home. At first she was nervous to meet new people but she has come very far and is willing to be around any newcomers to her house. Especially if they have treats. She is still learning about the world and working on manners but is doing fantastically.
Trixie’s ideal home would be with a patient family to help her continue to blossom, to have another friendly dog, no cats, and a yard because she loves to run around.
Trixie’s adoption fee is $300. She’s been spayed, has her microchip, and has all her shots including rabies and Bordetella and her license is current.
