Jasper is a gentle giant and the very definition of patience, kindness, and resilience. This sweet boy went into shelter in 2021 and found a loving home, but tragically, he was returned in October 2024 when his beloved adopter fell ill. Despite all the changes in his life, Jasper remains the same gentle soul—calm, loving, and full of quiet wisdom. He’s navigating some vision and hearing loss, and was recently diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. But with the right medication, he’s already improving! What he needs now is a warm, safe place to spend his golden years—a home where he can be cherished for the incredible dog he is. Jasper gets along well with other dogs and moves through the shelter and outdoor areas with ease, winning hearts wherever he goes. He is housetrained (though does thrive on frequent potty breaks due to his Cushing's diagnosis) We just need the right person to see what we see—a dog who deserves love, comfort, and a family to call his own. Jasper is SO ready to bring so much love into a home. Jasper is 9 years old and 81 lbs.
