Meet Pete – Your Calm and Loyal Friend!

Hi there, I’m Pete, a 2.6-year-old, 18-pound, long-haired golden Chihuahua/Dachshund mix with a gentle soul and a calm demeanor.

About Me:
• Neutered, fully vaccinated, and micro-chipped—I’m ready to join your family.
• Calm Personality: I have a laid-back attitude and enjoy relaxing by your side.
• Affectionate: I form strong bonds with my human companions and, with a slow introduction, I get along well with other dogs.

My Favorites:
• Sunbathing: I love finding a sunny spot to relax and unwind.
• Leisurely Walks: I enjoy calm strolls and am a well-behaved walking partner.

Adoption fees: Dogs puppy thru adult $350, seniors $200. Cats $100

Additional adoption info

An application is required to determine if the pet you are interested in would be a good match with your family/home. If you are selected for adoption a home check is required to ensure it is safe for the pet. There is a required contract where you agree to take proper care of the pet.

Adoption Fees: Dogs - puppy thru adult are $350; and seniors are $200. Cats are $100.

SCT Retrievers started because of a need to give all breeds pure or mixed, large or small, old or young another chance to have a loving forever home. This is a very small organization and totally depends on private donations to help support the needs of the pets rescued. All donations go to the direct support and care of the pets rescued and are tax deductible.
