Winchester is the most amazing kitty ever! He is always there to greet everyone and be the sweetest little boy when you need cuddles. You have best of both worlds with Winchester, you get the playful mischievous kitty and a darling sweetheart who loves to cuddle on you. He is a ton of fun and loves to play and get air. He can rough and tumble with the best of them! If you’re looking for the ultimate momma’s boy, here he is! Winchester loves to play with his foster siblings and great with older cats! Winchester is still young and needs to be adopted with one of his foster siblings or a home with an age appropriate kitty buddy. He is waiting patiently for his human cuddle buddy to call his own!

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
