Raya - 3 year old boxer/pit mix

Found as an emaciated stray in Polk County, but transported from Texas as a young pup in 2020, it took several months to finally rescue her. She clearly had been on her own for a while and had bad experiences with humans. After being in foster since August 2024 she has decompressed but is still nervous so she would do best in a quiet home without any other dogs. It would take someone with time and patience to help her come out of her shell. It will take her several months to settle and be ready to start experiencing the world. She will not be an adventure dog or one for road trips, a homebody would be ideal.
