My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

03/08/25 This handsome, social guy is Buttons! Buttons is used to ruling his roost! He was the apple of his previous owner's eye, but army rules prevented them from keeping him in their base housing. Buttons is used to having his own room with access to the rest of the house. He was said to come downstairs when he felt like being social and return to his room when he was ready for bed. Buttons is also kennel trained! He loves treats and will jump up on people if he sees them. As any typical rabbit, Buttons does dig, chew and scratch. He had long toenails when he first arrived at the shelter, but he tolerated his nail trim very well. Bunnies need to chew to keep their teeth healthy, so make sure Buttons has plenty of appropriate chew toys available and has restricted access to things you do not want chewed. Buttons was said to be a gentle, friendly and affectionate little guy. He was said to do well with children and adults, and he loves bamboo sticks! If you are not familiar with rabbits, we highly recommend doing significant research prior to inquiring about adopting Buttons. Buttons has lived a free-roaming life and is used to using potty pads when nature calls. He is said to be fearful of dogs, so it would be best that his next home not have any dogs around.
