Busby is such a GREAT size for most any family.

Busby or Buzz is a medium size, scruffy but soft coated terrier mix of some kind we think he has a little beagle in him because of his bark. He can do a little baying at times. Buzz was found in the middle of I70 with another large dog.  Good Samaritans stopped and carried them safely to their car. Surely they wouldn't have made it across otherwise. They were taken to the vet and both tested positive for heart worms.  The good Samaritans messaged our group to see if we could help.  Buzz stayed with us and the older dog was taken in by a couple, Kim and Steve that adopt senior dogs only.  She has recovered from the treatment and is living the dream with them.  Buzz also completed the treatment and is ready for his new family.

Buzz does great with other dogs and if you have cats we can check him out with them to be sure he is OK with them. Buzz loves people! He really tries to please his humans so we think he could be trained on other things easier. He has done great so far on his housebreaking skills. Buzz has a very sweet and even temperament.  He seems to get a little nervous in a really busy house so maybe a little more on the calm side for him. Fill that application out and make this awesome fella your new companion. Buzz will go home wearing a harness and collar with leash attached.

I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
