Millie has all the makings of the sweetest pup you could ever come home to. No shortage of happy smiles and sweet kisses! She is a true companion dog; she is always lying close by, loves to sit in your lap, and loves belly rubs. She isn’t going to demand attention, but she will quietly check in for some affection and sit nearby so you don’t get lonely. Being a rescue dog, we do not know Millie's history, but we believe she is a full-blooded Miniature Australian Shepherd and at 2.5 years old she weighs 35 lbs. Millie is considered Special Needs as she is deaf. This does make reprimanding and training her difficult as you have to make eye contact. Millie has lived with another dog but her young and high activity level is too much for her older friend. She loves to play and run and is probably better as an only pet with multiple children. Millie is house and kennel trained but does drink a lot of water, so you have to limit her water a couple hours before bedtime.
