Meet the Pet

One of Mercury's favorite pastimes is looking out the window. He is very social with people and not at all shy. He can be grumpy with other cats and is a bit of an alpha kitty. Apply to adopt via www.sparklecatrescue.org
Mercury is a young adult male (exact age unknown, showed up at foster parents' house injured). He has been in foster care since September of 2024. His injured leg has fully recovered. He is a funny quirky kitty who doesn’t seem to prefer the company of other cats and seems interested in our dog but somehow ends up being grumpy instead of friendly. He screams a bit when he wants something but at heart he really is a sweet kitty and loves people, just on his own terms. We believe he’d probably be happiest in a house with fewer pets than his foster home. He is a tall guy and has lots of character and his own special charm and the way he communicates makes him seem almost human.
