My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently in a Toronto foster home

Bongbong is a 3-year-old male spitz mix, weighing 9 kg. His cute chubby body resembles that of a Welsh Corgi but his unique and adorable face is reminiscent of a Spitz with the unmistakable impression of a Chow Chow. He was rescued from a shelter just before euthanasia was performed and is now looking for a warm and loving family to call his own.

Bongbong is very friendly, even with people he meets for the first time. He approaches strangers without hesitation and happily takes treats. He prefers spending time with people rather than playing with other dogs. When you pet his face and body, he showers you with affection and keeps asking for more, making him irresistibly charming. Additionally, he rarely barks, displaying a calm and quiet nature. Simply being with his owner brings him happiness.

Although he is not yet fully accustomed to walks and hesitates at first, he quickly adapts and starts exploring his surroundings. He is currently receiving leash training at the training center and is learning at an impressive pace. As he builds a stronger bond with his future owner, he will naturally become more comfortable with walks.

Since Bongbong spent a long time in the shelter, he has not yet fully developed a consistent potty routine. Due to his male dog tendencies, he may mark his territory, but this behavior is expected to decrease as he adjusts to a new environment. With regular outdoor potty breaks, he will learn quickly, as he is highly intelligent.

If given the opportunity to run freely in a yard or dog park, he happily expends his energy, but he is calm and well-behaved indoors.

The Ideal Family for Bongbong:

✔️ Someone who values bonding with their pet and can spend ample time with him

✔️ A person willing to patiently teach him proper walking and potty habits

✔️ Someone who can provide him with opportunities to run and play freely in a yard or dog park

✔️ A loving owner ready to form a deep connection with a bright and affectionate dog and commit to him for life

Bongbong is just as special as his unique appearance. He is a loving and well-mannered pup who adores people and is eager to grow alongside his future owner. With warm love and care, he is ready to become the perfect companion.

Bongbong is waiting for his forever family.
