My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hudson: Your New Adventure Buddy!

Hey there, future best friend! I’m Hudson, a 10-month-old, medium-haired orange tabby, and I’m on a mission—to explore your home, investigate every nook and cranny, and most importantly, win your heart.

I’m curious, friendly, and always ready for action. Whether it’s chasing a toy, watching birds from the window, or inspecting whatever you’re doing (because obviously, I’m the supervisor), I’m always in the middle of the fun.

I’m not neutered yet, but no worries—my $90 adoption fee covers my neuter and vaccines before I head home with you. Pretty great deal for a fluffy, lovable detective like me!

If you’re looking for a playful, adventurous, and affectionate sidekick, call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. Let’s start our journey together!

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the City of Talladega. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
