This sleek, long-legged pup is a bundle of speed and joy! Dilbert is a 20lb, 6-month-old Hound mix. With a body shaped like a Whippet, he moves with incredible agility and loves to run. But don’t let his zoomies fool you—he can be both playful and lazy, happily matching your energy whether it’s playtime or cuddle time.
Since arriving at his foster home, Dilbert has been a dream in his crate, keeping it clean and barely making a fuss. He’s had almost no accidents indoors and is already showing great manners. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and has been nothing but gentle, even with cats! No signs of aggression or possessiveness over food or toys, just pure friendliness.
A true cuddle bug, Dilbert adores being with his humans. He’s a bit clingy but is slowly gaining confidence to explore on his own. He’s eager to please and easy to redirect when his puppy energy gets the best of him. He knows basic commands like "sit," though staying still can be a challenge with his happy puppy wiggles.
Dilbert has a classic Hound bark and will let you know when someone’s approaching, but he’s not excessive about it. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, snuggling up for movie night, or happily chewing on his favorite toys, Dilbert is just an all-around joyful, loving pup.
